Jeff Beird, Partner

Jeff Beird joined The La Penna Group, Inc. in 1998 following administrative positions at a large primary care medical group, a staff model HMO, a hospital-based joint venture entity, and several large hospital systems.

Jeff earned a master’s degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan and an undergraduate degree in English and Business Administration from Hope College. He is actively involved in several health care business associations and is currently a member of the Health Management and Policy Alumni Board at the University of Michigan.

Jeff’s expertise includes fair market value analysis of provider compensation arrangements, MSO fees, and shared service / use fee arrangements.  He regularly performs valuation reviews for medical practices, ambulatory surgery centers, office-based labs, and other unique ancillary service organizations.

Jeff has performed the claims reviews and business case analysis for all of our Employer Managed Health clients for the past 20 years.
